Said "I Do" on June 12th 2021
Every great love story has a beginning, and Xochitl's and David's story began by chance in Santa Barbara, California during the summer of 2016. They met by chance, but perhaps it was something deeper drawing these two amazing people together. Four years later, David decided to pop the question. A beautiful dinner with stunning ocean views was the plan, but as it turns out David wasn't feeling well that day - Xochitl believes it was nerves and David maintains it was a bug, thus making this one of the great mysteries of their relationship. Not to be deterred, David improvised and popped the question at home over grilled cheese sandwiches...making this one of the most sweet and endearing proposals that I, personally, can imagine.
When asked what she loved most about David, Xochitl said, "There are many things I love about David (frequent neck/back
massages, coffee in bed, funny voice impersonations) but most of all
because he is the ying to my yang."
You and Me Together, Always and Forever
When asked what he loved most about Xochitl, David said, "What I love most about Xochitl is her personality, her beauty
(inside and out) her sense of humor, and her drive. She also helps me
to be a better version of myself."
A year later, it was time to say "I Do". The ceremony was held at St. Patrick's Church in Arroyo Grande, California. David's parents are parishioners, and it just seemed like the right choice. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and filled with so much love. Both Xochitl and David agree that the sacrament of matrimony was the most important part of their day, and it truly was something beautiful to witness, especially with so many of their close friends and family in attendence. After the beautiful ceremony, the iconic Madonna Inn played host to their dinner and reception. This was Xochitl's choice, as she had grown up going there as a child and has always thought of it as a fun and funky place. A fantastic dinner, beautiful speeches and lots of love spread through the evening. It couldn't have been a more beautiful day!
After the crazy year that we have all had in 2020, Xochitl and David look at their wedding as a silver lining in an unprecidented and surreal time. They truly are two people who are meant to be together, and it was our absolute pleasure to be there to capture such an incredible union. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Webster, may all of your dreams come true together.
